Aged Care Royal Commission

People entering the aged care system aren’t tested for their hearing acuity but common-sense suggests that it is a majority whose hearing loss limits their access to community life. It is perhaps as high as 75-80%.

This can mean that they are vulnerable to abuse, violence and exploitation.

The Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety website is the place to:

View live webcasts of hearings, or video recordings of previous hearings or read the transcripts.
