The Branches of Better Hearing are the front line of the organization, delivering the services, training the tutors and organizing the Hearing Loss Management sessions for members. Support groups and social gatherings are also arranged within the Branches.Branches are controlled and run by Committees of Management with assistance from members and support staff, and Government funding, if available.
Membership is welcomed at any branch. Reciprocal rights apply to any branch.
The members of Better Hearing are mostly hard of hearing people who join the organization to learn how to better handle their hearing loss, and equipment such as hearing aids, via the Hearing Loss Management groups and individual assistance. Many cochlear implantees are members of Better Hearing.
